Orthodontics Treatment in Dallas

orthodontic treatment

Do you have crooked, uneven teeth or an over or under bite? Although orthodontic treatments are usually associated with childhood, adults can also benefit from treatments to straighten your teeth and improve your smile and well-being. We offer orthodontics services to Oak Cliff and Dallas families that will help you get a straighter smile and relieve the pain and suffering caused by alignment and bite problems. With a variety of treatments including Six Month Smiles, Fast Braces, Clear Correct and Inman aligners as well as traditional braces we can provide you with an orthodontic treatment that works for you.

Traditional Metal Braces

Metal braces are the traditional orthodontic treatment. Braces are a series of wires and brackets that we attach to your teeth. They work by realigning and moving your teeth into their proper positions over time. Braces are the tried and true orthodontic treatment, with a high success rate and a minimum of complications. You can usually expect to wear braces for around 18 months or longer. During this time you would come to our office to check the progress of your treatment and make any necessary adjustments to your braces.

Six Month Smiles

Six Month Smiles is an orthodontic treatment for adults that straightens and corrects the teeth that are visible when you smile. The procedure is normally very fast, with average treatments lasting six months.

Six Months Smiles can give you the smile you want in less time, and at a lower cost, than traditional orthodontic treatments such as braces or aligners. The process uses special clear plastic braces and colored wires to realign and straighten the teeth in your smile. If you are looking to improve your smile quickly and affordably, Six Month Smiles may be the solution for you.

Fastbraces are an innovative orthodontic technology that uses specially-designed braces to correct your smile in less time than traditional braces. Traditional braces work in a two-step process over two years: first they move the crowns of your teeth into their new positions, and then they move your roots. Fastbraces work in a single step by moving the crown and the roots together. Because Fastbraces works by moving the roots at the beginning of treatment, your treatment time is significantly reduced. The average Fastbraces treatment takes three months to a year, but can be as short as several weeks if the bones of your jaw respond well to the treatment.

Clear Correct

Clear Correct aligners are clear plastic aligners that work like braces but are virtually invisible when they are worn. Unlike braces, they can be removed when you eat or brush and floss your teeth. Aligners work in a similar way as braces. Over time they gradually move your teeth into their correct places. You'll need to wear your aligners every day for the entire treatment period, only removing them to brush your teeth or eat. The length of your treatment depends on how much correction your teeth need. During that time we will replace your aligners every two weeks with a slightly different set which gently moves your teeth into their new positions.

Inman Aligners

Inman Aligners are special aligners that quickly re-align and straighten your front teeth. They are ideal for patients who want to improve the aesthetics of their smile without the cost and inconvenience of full orthodontic treatment.

The Inman Aligner fits over your top and bottom teeth and uses a patented spring mechanism to gently reposition your front teeth to make them straighter and more even. You would normally wear the aligner for 16 to 20 hours a day over 6 to 18 weeks for the full treatment. After your treatment you would need to wear a retainer for a short period as your teeth settle into their new positions.
